Here are answers to the most common questions about the fair.

I SEE THE STORE IS SOLD OUT.  Can i still buy bracelets, tickets, and shirts?

Yes, bracelets, ride tickets, and food/beverage tickets will be on sale at the fair beginning at 5pm Friday, Nov 15th at all bank locations (inside old gym / outside old gym / football concession stand).  The shirt pre-order guarantees any order by October 29th. After that date, the remaining shirts will be available first-come first-served, the price will increase by $5 and we will only have limited stock available. Last day to order any St. Aloysius logo merchandise is October 29th. Last day to order any merchandise or tickets (with the exception of raffle tickets) through the website is November 6th.

How will I receive my order I placed online?

If you selected classroom delivery, your order will be sent home with your child on November 11th.

If you selected Will Call, your order will be available for pick-up in the St. Aloysius School cafeteria on November 10th from 3pm-7pm.

What are the dates of the 2019 fair?

The 2019 St. Aloysius Fair is from Friday, November 15th through Sunday, November 17th.

Where are the fairgrounds located?

The St. Aloysius Fair fairgrounds are located on the St. Aloysius Church and School campus at 2025 Stuart Avenue in Baton Rouge. The fairgrounds are accessible from Stuart Avenue, Hood Avenue and Mimosa Street.

 

What are the Fair hours?

Friday, November 15th (5:00 PM to 10:00 PM)
Saturday, November 16th (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM)
Sunday, November 17th (10:00 AM to 3:00 PM)

What are daily admission prices?

Admission to the St. Aloysius Fair is FREE for everyone. Ride bracelets and tickets, game and food tickets and St. Aloysius items can be purchased throughout the weekend.

What are ride, food and beverage prices?

All-access ride bracelets may be purchased for $40 each. These bracelets provide access to all fair rides Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the fair weekend.

Ride, game and food/beverage tickets ($1 value each) may be pre-ordered in sheets of 40 or 20. Individual tickets may be purchased on-site for $1 each.

Tickets and bracelets are available for purchase at the concession stand in the old gym (2 lines) and the concession stand by the football field (2 lines).

Cash and credit cards are accepted for ticket purchase on-site. Cash is not accepted at individual game or food booths or rides. Fairgoers must purchase tickets in order to purchase merchandise. Click here for advance ticket purchase.

What about parking during the fair?

Parking is available in designated church and school parking lots and along all streets. Parking is also available at Southdowns Elementary on Hood Avenue. Follow signs from Perkins Road at Hood Avenue and Perkins Road at Stuart Avenue.

When will the raffle winners be announced? Must you be present to win?

The raffle drawing will begin at approximately 2 PM on Sunday, November 17th on the main stage on the fairgrounds. You are not required to be present to win, but stay close to your phone in case you are one of the top two lucky winners, as you will be called from the stage for all to join in your excitement!! Where do you find general information during the fair?

Fairgoers may ask for assistance from any fair committee member in a  “staff” fair t-shirt.

What should I wear at the fair?

South Louisiana weather in November is unpredictable! It may be hot, warm, cool or cold! Dress comfortably and be sure to wear your dancing shoes!

Each visitor to the fair will be required to wear a shirt and footwear.

What is the fair’s smoking policy?

Smoking is not allowed on the school’s campus by Louisiana state law. Tobacco products will not be sold anywhere on the fairgrounds.

Can I bring my own food/beverages to the fair?

Fairgoers should not bring  food and drink. Plenty of great food and beverages will be sold throughout the weekend. Fairgoers will not be allowed to carry any alcoholic beverages or coolers onto campus. No glass bottles or containers will be allowed. Remember this is a fundraiser for our great Parish!

Are pets allowed, even if they are leashed?

Out of respect for all of our fairgoers, only service animals for special needs purposes are permitted.

What if someone gets lost at the fair?

Lost persons will be brought to the Sheriff Deputies stationed throughout the fairgrounds. Please let your child know that if they become lost they can reach out to an officer or a Fair committee member wearing a staff shirt. If you lose your child, please see a Fair committee member or Sheriff Deputy as we can communicate easily and quickly among a larger group.

Where is first aid available during the fair?

First aid will be available at the concession stand in the old gym as well as the concession stand at the football field.
